Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Synaptiq website and your enrolment in any of our online AI development programmes. Please read them carefully before purchasing or accessing any course.

01.Definitions

  • "Synaptiq", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Synaptiq, an online AI development school operated from 1 Empire Tower, South Sathorn Road, Yan Nawa, Sathon, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.
  • "You", "user" — any person who visits the website or purchases access to a programme.
  • "Programme" or "Course" — any online learning course offered through the Synaptiq platform.
  • "Content" — all text, code, exercises, datasets, video recordings, and materials provided as part of a programme.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • "Platform" — the Synaptiq website and any related tools or portals used to deliver course content.

02.Acceptance of Terms

By using the website or purchasing a programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase a course.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under the laws of your country of residence. By agreeing, you represent that this is the case.

If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

03.Service Description

Synaptiq provides online AI development education delivered through self-paced modules, live sessions, recorded content, and mentor feedback, depending on the programme enrolled in. Our current programmes are:

  • Foundations of AI Development — 8 weeks, self-paced with weekly live Q&A sessions and reviewed exercises. ฿4,000.
  • Applied Machine Learning Programme — 12 weeks with mentor feedback on assignments and practical project briefs. ฿16,000.
  • Advanced AI Engineering Track — 16 weeks with regular mentor sessions, code reviews, and a portfolio project. ฿34,000.

Programme details, schedules, and included materials are described on the relevant programme pages and are subject to reasonable change with prior notice.

04.User Accounts

Access to programme materials requires a learner account. When you enrol, you will receive login credentials by email. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • Do not share your login details with others. Each enrolment is for a single individual learner.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or close an account found to be in breach of these terms.

05.User Responsibilities

When using the platform or participating in any programme, you agree to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully. The following activities are not permitted:

  • Reproducing, distributing, or reselling course content without written permission.
  • Using the platform in any way that disrupts access for other learners.
  • Submitting work for peer review or mentor feedback that is not your own original effort.
  • Attempting to access parts of the platform for which you have not enrolled or paid.
  • Using course materials for commercial purposes outside the scope of personal learning.

06.Intellectual Property

All course content — including written materials, code examples, exercise frameworks, datasets, and recorded sessions — remains the intellectual property of Synaptiq or its content contributors, unless otherwise stated.

When you enrol, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own learning. This licence does not permit you to copy, redistribute, or create derivative works for commercial use.

Work you produce yourself during a programme (your own code, written submissions, portfolio projects) remains yours. We may ask for permission to feature exceptional learner work in promotional materials, but this is always with your consent.

07.Payment & Refund Policy

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and include applicable VAT where required. Prices are as stated on the programme pages at the time of purchase.

Payment methods

We accept major debit and credit cards and other methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by a third-party provider; we do not store card details.

Refunds

You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the programme content. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order details.

After the 7-day window or if more than 20% of content has been accessed, refunds are not available. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.

Programme access

Access to programme materials is available for the duration of the cohort or stated access period. Extended access may be available on request; enquire at [email protected].

08.Enrolment & Course Terms

  • Enrolment confirmation — you will receive an email with access instructions after a successful payment.
  • Self-paced modules — where a programme is self-paced, you progress through content at your own speed within the stated access window.
  • Live sessions — schedules for live Q&A and mentor sessions are shared upon enrolment. Missed sessions are not individually rescheduled but may be recorded.
  • Academic integrity — work submitted for mentor review should represent your own efforts. Submitting another person's work as your own is grounds for access suspension without refund.
  • No completion certificates — Synaptiq does not issue formal qualifications or accredited certificates. We provide a written progress record on the Advanced track as described in the course details.

09.Disclaimers

Our programmes are provided for educational purposes. We describe what is taught and how it is taught; we do not make commitments about employment outcomes, earnings, or specific technical results following completion.

The platform and its content are provided on an "as available" basis. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access and to keep materials up to date, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Technical requirements (device, internet connection, software) are the responsibility of the learner.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, Synaptiq's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform or our programmes shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of income, data, or opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Synaptiq harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the platform or its content.

12.Termination

Either party may terminate access to the platform. If you wish to close your account, contact us at [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, particularly in cases of content misuse or academic dishonesty. In such cases, refunds are not available.

Provisions related to intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and disputes survive any termination.

13.Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from them shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties.

If informal resolution is not possible within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to mediation before any court proceedings are initiated. The courts of Bangkok, Thailand shall have jurisdiction over matters that proceed to litigation.

Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent court where necessary.

14.General Provisions

  • Entire agreement — these terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the complete agreement between you and Synaptiq.
  • Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
  • Waiver — failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment — you may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign ours in connection with a business transfer.

15.Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our programmes, applicable law, or our operating practices. When we make significant changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date.

If you continue to use the platform after changes take effect, you are taken to have accepted the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
